Will Allah forgive my sins?
Sometimes you think you are expelled from Allah’s Mercy, when you recall your history and you see that you have committed all the sins and Haram, you believe this is your end! But fortunately, it is NOT, as you still have a chance to change your compass to the right path. Listen to the Holy Words of Allah
“Verily, Allah forgives not that partners should be set up with him in worship, but He forgives except that (anything else) to whom He pleases”
“إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يَغْفِرُ أَن يُشْرَكَ بِهِ وَيَغْفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٰلِكَ لِمَن يَشَاءُ”
Surah Al-Nisaa:40
So, no matter what was your past, you are alive now and can be a slave to Allah worshipping Him, seeking His Pleasure and Forgiveness. There are main factors to a strong Tawba (repentance), first, is to admit your sin and regret it. The messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said:
“Regret is repentance”.
Second, is to have a determination to never go back to the sins. You need to decide your goal, and set a plan of how to avoid going back to it. Third, ask Allah’s Forgiveness, cry, show your weakness before Allah and beg Him for Mercy. Fourth, if this mistake can be fixed, then you should fix it. You can replace it with good deeds, helping the poor and needy with Sadaqaat (charity). This is a short brief of how to repair your relation with Allah, and start leading a good life. We live this life to please Allah and ask Allah to reward us in this Dunia and the afterlife. May Allah forgive our sins and grant us Tawbah before we meet Him.
